Walking for young Australians with disabilities

Club members Graham Metcalf and Sue Woodward set out on Monday 6 August on a 17km walk from Luna Park to Watsons Bay raising money for the The Dylan Alcott Foundation. The Foundation helps young Australians with disabilities overcome the barriers of entry to sport and education.
Thanks to many club members, Graham raised close to $3,000 for the Foundation. The event “Walk the Talk” was staged by ANZ.
And along the 17km walk, Graham picked up with the man himself – Dylan Alcott, ANZ Ambassador. Dylan is a multi-Olympian (basketball and tennis), winning gold in both sports. He is also the current AO men’s wheelchair champion, and Triple M host.
We now need to see him at the club … he has invited himself down!
